Likes that won't show up on Facebook pages

I am probably just the last to know this but just in case anyone else didn't realise -

I was told recently that if you like a page with you fan page ID it doesn't count as a like so it's good to encourage people to 'like' with their personal page or it won't count.

Thought it might be helpful for those as clumsy at social networking as I am!

Yep, I knew that. I still prefer to like with my fan page so my personal page isn't flooded with Etsy stuff. When I want to see what other Etsy sellers are up to I log on with my fan page and check my feed from there. It also gets my shop name out there when I post comments with my fan page.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh - thanks - that solves that mystery! I have had people tell me they 'liked' it but my likes never went up! I couldn't figure out why.

Too bad for us as we don't use any of our personal pages. Oh well, it looks like people will enjoy our little corner of crafting chaos a little slower rate!
