i was just at disney in flordia in march. the one thing you hardly ever hear is no. It is a requrement for everyone to be fluent in english. they point with there hands to make sure you know where to go.

they are not the cheepest but you will have no worries when you are there. they do what you need them to do and they are fair and helpfull.

the idea is for the customer to come back over and over again. it may not be the same park but the same company.

We took our boys to Disney about 10 years ago. My youngest son, who was 4 years old at the time, still remembers walking down the street holding Minnie Mouse's hand.

Disney does a wonderful job of making people - especially children - feel like they are the most important guest in the entire kingdom, even if just for a few moments. They are definitely masters of creating lasting impressions.

I worked there a while back & just as the motto goes at Disney, "We create Happiness." There are plenty of behind-the-scenes magic that is so wonderful & specific to only Disney.

Excellent post- Disney definitely has it's own culture where the main focus is pride and passion for what they do. They also take the approach " it's not my fault but it is my problem" when it comes to customer service.
It's no wonder that corporations turn to the Disney model for better ways to manage their staff and improve customer relations.
I have only been there once and it truly was a one of a kind experience. I think it's a great idea to take a look at my shop to see what I can do or change to make someone's quick trip through my little piece of Etsy more memorable, more of a stand out. Thanks for posting!

I went to Disneyland in California about a month ago. It was my first time ever at Disneyland and even though I'm 19 it was still one of the most magical days of my life (Second only to the day I met my now-boyfriend!). I got myself a pair of Minnie Mouse ears that were sequinned and had a sparkly bow :D

This is a fantastic article and I've got some good ideas for my shop now! I already try to offer an experience by providing great customer service, but I think I should work on stronger branding. :)
