I recently added more items to my listings and I am now at 216. It seems the more I add the less views I'm getting. I don't understand what's going on. Anybody else having the same problem?

Hi Nez,

Your shop looks lively and colorful. We noticed that newly added items might take a few hours, if not days, to be pop on the search engine. We had to tweet the new listings and pin it in order to get the word out.

Don't give up, it will come around!

Thank you for the feedback. I'm still very new to all, this so I'm still trying to figure it all out. I keep seeing people say just keep adding to your listing so that's what I've done . I have also been promoting like crazy so yeah I'm a bit worried.

i have not sold anything for ages//since etsy changed the searches and how people find you to be precise only my patterns are going but they are 3£ so no money made there.. the worst is that i bought lots of stamps before the price hike in April (in the UK) and now I am stuck with them and it's highly unlikely i will sell anyhting at all so I just wait for the lisitngs to finish and close down that is money lost too..nightmare I am a bit fed up with Etsy at the mo..

Your store is so new like mine and you already had many followers and admirers you should be happy, and I am happy for you! Sit tight and wait there will be a success just the matter of times. Many good wishes for all Etsy Sellers....

Hi Nez,

You are doing great especially considering you have only been open for a short time. The longer you are on, the more you will see that no matter what you do there is no real consistency. Sometimes the views are great and other times you wonder if etsy took a day off. Be patient. Your items are very nice.

Maybe put the item name, rather than the color, first. Like, "Necklace - red" rather than the other way round. Also be sure to repeat your 1st keywords in the word tag area.

Susanna, it shouldn't matter. There are 27,100 people searching for both "Necklace - red"...or" Red - necklace" globally...it doesn't matter which word comes first.

My main concern is how many views I'm getting from people searching on Google. I read somewhere from one of my SEO teams and I quote "Google does not "see" the listing tags and they do not affect rankings on Google. Etsy made the listings tags "invisible" to the search engines several months ago. Now the listing tags are only used within Etsy Relevancy searches. "

When you look at your shop stats and you look under traffic sources. Do you see "Google" under there and how many views are you getting from it?

I've been having the same thing, but I'm not sure it's more than coincidence that the more items I add the less views I'm getting. I'll be crossing the 400 items line today and I've been getting <30 views from within Etsy the last few days. It's rather discouraging, especially when I've been working so much harder lately. It just tells me, though, that even after two years on Etsy I still have a lot to learn and there is never a better time to learn than NOW.

Today has been rather strange for me. I feel like views have come to a halt. I don't know if anyone else is the same too.

My views have fall down to a half or less. I recently opened another store and I'm so discouraged that I decided to try again search Adds, even when I didn't get good results before. It has been running for a day and I haven't got a single view from it.
Very disappointing :(
