Just need advice on what I should do next, now that I have 14 items

My goal was to get around 12-14 items made, photographed, and listed. I started out with only 5 items in January. My goal for April was to get 20 items made and listed. (my original goal was to have 20 items after 3-6 months, made this goal in March.)

I asked another team what I should do next, work on Irish crochet lace or make a bunch of little items to fill up shop. And one person told me to work on my Irish crochet lace. I made one item of this, but not happy with it. It was my 1st piece of clones lace, a type of Irish crochet.

I really would like to see more items in my shop, so I will have more exposure, but I am about half way through a doily of clones lace (Irish crochet) and about done with an Irish crochet "wild rose" brooch-just need to finish off with clones knots around and attach pin back. Waiting on pin backs to come in the mail. I really don't like putting things off either.

Should I keep working on Irish crochet, or put it aside until I get at least 20 items in shop?

I always work on what strikes me at the time to finish up. So I would work on something that I enjoy and your shop will fill up eventually. Lovely by the way.

If I were you, I'd work on what you enjoy doing. If you like working in Irish Crochet, then do that. If you prefer doing lace things then work in lace.

O.K., well...I guess that's what Etsy is all about: Doing what you enjoy! And I'm in love with clone's lace and Irish crochet. I think I really enjoy Etsy. I look forward to doing what I do every day. I guess I shouldn't get in a rush to fill shop up. So I will finish my doily and pin-no rush to get to 20 items....just enjoy the process of creating lovely things ....even if an item takes 2 weeks.

Yes, do what you enjoy doing the most! Love the colors you have in your shop! I hearted it!

I work on what I have available at the time.....adding new items is great...but if you are adding things just for the sake of it your creativity might not be there...and you might end up with items your not happy with....if you arent happy with an item a customer isnt likely to be happy either.

work on what makes you happy....this is what most of us starting crafting for :) then tried our hands at selling it later
