I do occasionally, though people rarely ask me.
I enjoy trading, but it can be risky business. Some people might not deem your work worth the amount you sell it for, or might deem their work worth more than it is - and this goes both ways. You could say one item for one item, but if the item I'm trading is worth £20, and the item the other person is trading for it is worth £7 then I feel as though I HAVE to accept it to avoid rocking the boat.
I tend to only trade with people who have an entire store that I LOVE, so that I'm not bothered if I trade my item for something worth less if I actually love it anyway. And only with people I'm familiar with, either through seeing frequently in Teams or from actually speaking with them.
Another problem I have with trades is that someone may ask me to trade and I don't want to trade that item, or trade with them at all (their items not being to my taste and such, afterall, a trade is just buying an item with another item rather than money, so you can't turn around and spend it, you're obligated to keep it, or give it to someone else). I feel really guilty declining :P
I never ask to trade. I don't want to put people in uncomfortable situations, so I tend to leave it until people ask me instead.
