One thing that has helped my business is participating in seasonal Craft Shows. This helps me set attainable and necessary goals and forces me to make time to create new products to sell not only at the craft shows but in my Etsy shop as well. The more good products I have, the more I see my sales boost. Haven't taken the "quit your day job" plunge yet, but would love to hear more helpful tips on how to attain that dream.

My moment was when I realized I could not do it all myself and asked for help. Made mistakes along the way, but learned to focus on what I do well and bring in others to complete the remaining tasks. I had to let go the idea that for it to be legitimately handmade, everything had to be done by me. It was a really bad business model at my level of production.

My first time was when I arrived to the point I need to get help to satisfy the requests. Lately I had to deactivateany listings due the fact that I receive so many commissions, that at the end, I can't fullfull everyone 's requests. But unfortunately, I cant find in my local place, someone that can help me to do my same work... I'm thinking if it would be a good idea, that I saw someone else do do the same, to put a max number of items available per person, everytime I get messages of requests for a custom order.... for example, each person can order up to 3 Sets... what do you think about it? I prefer to make happy more people in general, that stay a lot of time to complete a commission that, unfortunately, it takes more than 3 or 4 weeks to complete it...
