It keeps getting better?

I'm beside myself!

First- this started shaping up to be my best month ever, in terms of # of sales and revenue. I've made enough to pay my mortgage and the month isn't over!

Second- SEO work is paying off so views are better (300+ as opposed to 50 on a good day)

Third- I'm featured over at Babble.com as part of their Top 50 Etsy Baby Shops of 2013! http://www.babble.com/baby/best-etsy-baby-shop-bedding-clothing-toys-products/

Fourth- Tonight, after noticing lots of views from a browse, I found that my little jacket is being used in the Kid's Browse Section as the "Boys' Coats and Jackets" picture! http://www.etsy.com/browse/kids-category?ref=fp_ln_new_kids-category

I think I just might be chasing this month forever after this! How to keep it going? That's the question!

Congrats!! No more sads for you!! :) :) Now your family member can just eat her words. LOL I am feeling the same way as you, my January has been the best yet, and I feel really happy about it, but I feel like I will be chasing it and worried I'll be disappointed next month. LOL But I am trying to keep the negative speak out and stay positive!! Maybe we'll both blow January out of the water with February!! :) :) :)

It's so great to hear that putting in the time and hard work pays off! I've been selling on Etsy for about 9 months and I keep learning more, that hopefully will translate into ever increasing business!

A big AHA MOMENT for me was adding direct check out. Being from SF, it seems like everyone has a PayPal account, but when I finally got around to linking my checking account to Etsy and activating direct checkout I got some pretty immediate bigger sales from the middle of the country. Not that people in the middle of the country don't use PayPal, but I don't think as much as in SF! More choices the better when it comes to paying, just like Etsy says!
