Hey Candida! Definitely get hooked up with Google analytics. It does take some tinkering to figure out how to see that graphs that will be most helpful, but the longer you have it the more accurate the information gets. By using it I've learned that my main visit times are between 7-8am, 12-1pm, 7-8pm, so if I am listing I try to do it just before those times. I have yet to get up to list at 6:30am but have found that listing before those times hit brings even more shoppers to my space and reinforces those times. Most of my early shoppers are from different countries. But you'll find that google analytics can provide you with TONS of info if you invest some time in figuring it out (even just a little- I understand probably 10% of what it can really do for me, and even that small amount has made a huge difference).
If you haven't checked out Craftopolis yet (www.craftopolis.com), that's another good one which also becomes more powerful if you link it with google analytics (once you have your shop hooked up, it's just the simple step of clicking on a button from Craftopolis) It has a cool tag report feature that shows which of your item tags have been searched for so you can weed out tags that people aren't using.
