Is the Showcase Worth It?

I have purchased a few Showcase spots in the past. While they have increased my views and favorites on those particular days, they have not resulted in any sales.

Have you had any success with Showcase spots? If yes, I'd love to know the specifics. What day of the week works best for you? Have you had less success with the Showcase since Etsy eliminated featured items on the main page and in the Storque? Do you have more luck with main categories or sub-categories? etc.

I had the same outcome. Lots of views, but no sales.
I find that renewing my listings is a much better and cheaper way to boost sales. It puts you at the top of the search. :)

Waste of money. Use the money to renew instead, I have gotten much more success this way.

Most sellers will tell you not to bother with the showcases. There are so many other things you can do for free or less money that will drive traffic to your shop that in my opinion it is really not productive.

Wish I would have known that they weren't productive. I've bought some spots through May. :( Bummer.

I just gave it a shot for the first time (on Earth Day) and it was a total waste

I tried once and had no luck, and I really want to try the Children's but can't get in!!!!
