Is my shop to jumbled, multiple shops or one multi sectioned one?

Hi

I've been trying really hard to view my shop as a potential customer. I sell prints, jewellerly, plushies and purses and will be adding dresses next week once they're photographed. I always dreamed of having a shop selling a mixture of these things and I'm finally getting there. I've seen wonderful bricks and mortar shops in Barcelona and Madrid doing just that which has inspired me to put all that I do together in one place. My worry though is that is does look quite jumbled but no matter how I re arrange it so prints are ordered and jewellery together the shop looks a bit incoherent as a whole. Any advice?

What do others do? Do you open other shops? This worries me as it's taken ages just to get to this point in terms of sales and feedback. I've never really been clear on why people do have multiple shops. (excuse my ignorance!)

Thanks!

I really don't think you need to open another shop. I think your photographs and the style/design of your items make it completely consistent and looks wonderful. I would just try to mix the items instead of grouping them together in your shop.

Thanks, oh you're right maybe it's trying to group them that's not working. Thank you!

I agree with LitPrints... Typically, when people start to mix things, they REALLY mix them. They'll have a vintage tea cup next to a hand knit scarf next to a picture they took of a tulip. Despite the fact that you have many different categories of items, they are all very consistent, and someone who clicks on one of your listings would definitely be interested in the others (which is probably the best "should I open another shop" test).

Your shop is adorable! The style of your work brings all of your items together. There's no need for you to open a second shop.

I run 2 shops here on Etsy. I sell jewelry in my shop, my husband's shop has mostly things made out of duct tape. Since the two forms are so different, we decided to open the second shop.

ah thanks for the advice, I guess it makes sense to have another shop if you're items are so different. And my shop is kind of like the environment I like to be in kitsch, colourful but just maintaining a bit of coherence! I will plod on and mix it up a bit!
