Janet, I'd like to add of how unfair of an advantage it gives those shops as well. Because views and hearts play a part in relevancy (or so I've read). I simply just cannot spare that kind of time, and feel defeated sometimes. I also don't think that type of behavior is right, but that's just me. I suppose if you are one of the people doing that, you don't stop to see the harm, because after all business is business... you're either the shark or the bait.
I honestly, think that it should be taken out of the algorithm if it is indeed a part of it., because there are so many rouge clicks and traffic from people that the whole views thing doesn't be squat. I doubt they use organic clicks, or can even parse the data as it would be nearly impossible.
