Is it a good idea to make bundles of your items for people to buy?

I was wondering, as I have so many listings (many are not put up yet) that have similar themes/colours (spring colours, rock chick, unusual, neon colours) is it a good idea to sell them in a package? That will ultimately be a few pennies cheaper for the customer, but they recieve 3 or 4 items that go together quite well... sorry if this isn't making any sense! Just wondered if It was a good idea or not, has anyone out there ever done this? or bought something similar? Thanks! (Oh, and how on earth would I tag them?) xx

You could try it and see if it's popular - maybe it will appeal to some, particularly as a gift item. You could list it as a 'spring jewelry set' or 'earring/ring set' or whatever the case may be.

It could be worth a try, some people will buy sets if everything goes well together :), Its up to you weather you think it will be worth it or not :)

Hi Grace!

To optimize your visibility in search results, I would do separate listings for your items, unless it's a jewelry set (matching earrings and necklace, for example, or matching ring with earrings like you have in your shop). I think your items will 'shine' more on their own, and each listing is an ad to your shop!

I usually make matching items (earrings and necklace, earrings necklace and bracelet) and list them all separately, but link to the other items in each listing and I have free secondary shipping so they just pay one shipping fee per order.

You might consider doing a few match-y sets, and maybe even a listing or two for 'pick any 3 for $' - I see this mostly in shops where everything is simularly priced (ie: carries all tote bags) or in digital collage sites. Just something to consider! Personally, if I saw a set that I really liked, I would be more tempted to buy it complete than if I just saw an earring, then a necklace, followed by a bracelet.... That group picture would motivate me more than checking out several different pages, which would eventually lead me off your page all together and you've missed a sale b/c I spent too much time looking around :-)

Of course! Why not? It doesn't hurt to list it, it only cost you 25 cents. It's more listings, and creates more landing pages for people to find your stuff. You can always create backlinks (links to other pages) of the individual items in the description if someone just wants one item.
