If you can't find it, make it yourself?

I've been having a ridiculous amount of trouble finding a store that will make greeting cards and/or postcards out of my photography without leaving me even more broke than I already am, but I just had a breakthrough! I can get normal matte prints of the photographs and *make my own greeting cards by hand*. Of course, having never made any sort of greeting card, photography-based or otherwise, I'm a bit lost as to how to make them without wasting too many supplies in the learning process. I know there are many of you who make greeting cards, so do you have any tips? How-to guides?

Have you looked at www.moo.com? Their print quality and paper is excellent. They do postcards for $1 each. Greeting cards (including envelopes) range from $1.28 to $1.60 a card.

I have a coupon code for 10% off your first order if you are a new customer. Convo me if you'd like the code. I'm not posting it for everyone to see because the code can only be used one time.

I have looked there and their products look wonderful, but their shipping costs are astronomical.

The first thing I'd suggest is to make sure you have a super good quality printer and top quality paper. Your photos are too gorgeous to settle for cheap supplies and a cheap printer. I make greeting cards and a few have been run through my printer to add text. I use Word to set up my text. I make my cards from 8.5 x 11 cardstock and can get two cards per sheet. I think yours would be nice in a larger size. I always think of photo greeting cards as suitable for framing.

Sorry to hear that. Were those shipping costs from the US to Spain? I'm pretty sure Moo has a London office too. I hope you find a good solution.

I went through the order process for Moo to have a better, more specific idea of what their shipping to Spain was, and it turns out that calculator gives me a much more affordable price! Nearly half of what their standard shipping cost calculator estimated. I still can't afford it just now, but I'll keep it in mind for the future. Thank you for making me recheck!

Judy, thank you so much for your input and information. I really appreciate it and will keep it in mind. <3
