If someone add your item on old treasury?!

I have two questions! :)

1. I check my treasury from time to time and also tweet often as possible,
and disappeared items happens. Is that because the seller stopped selling it or they can choose not to be featured?

2. Dose that offend you or make you feel bad if someone add your item to an old treasury to fill up the blank spaces? I have some blank parts and want to fill it up with beautiful items, I'm not sure what the sellers would think they find the treasury is not new. How would you feel?

P.S. I send prayers to everyone suffering from Sandy. xoxo

P.S. oh, also as a seller, I wouldn't mind at if that happens to me, I'd love to be featured! But it's not like everyone would feel the same way. Would it be better to make a whole new treasury with the same theme?

The sellers did not choose not to be featured, their items that were in your treasury just sold!
As a seller, I wouldn't take offense at all, I do it when I need to and it is not an insult by any means, to me it is just "refreshing" the treasury. I do that all the time and swtich items around in a new order. I also make new ones often as well. I guess it is all in the way you look at it.

Re: If someone add your item on old treasury?!

Old treasuries are so out of the cue that it seems hardly worth it. That said, it's your treasury so go ahead and fill it if you like for your own enjoyment.

Sometimes items disappear from a treasury because the listing expired or the seller moved it to their inactive file. Sold items seem to eventually drop off as well.

Sold items stay in a treasury. The only thing that changes is the price says Sold.

Most likely the item disappeared because it expired or was deactivated.

I've made a lot of treasuries with my second shop. I've added new items to fill blank spaces in old treasuries. It became a vicious cycle of finding new items, moving things around to make it more visually appealing, etc. I decided to just let them be, empty spaces and all.

Hi, Samantha, thank you for the reply! :)
I guess I don't need to be worried and just find beautiful ones to fill it up!
And I thought about it again, I lose all comments featured sellers left if I erase old treasury and create new one with more items, I really don't want it.

Antoinette, Judy, I didn't know so well why they disappear, thank you!

I dont know how many treasuries there are on Etsy hundreds of thousands I suppose but I agree with Antoinette after a couple of days they are so far buried down the list that no one sees them anyway. I would rather spend the time making a new treasury or working on my shop to make it more treasury worthy.

I only ever make Treasuries for fun and I'm not concerned about front page treasury making.

So, I don't mind at all, Claire. It's always nice to be included in someone's treasury, even an old one.
