Ideas?

I'd like to sell off my older stock - my style has changed completely and want to move on. Any ideas how best to have a sale, or how to move the stock on?

I'll be selling most of the white porcelain dogs and cats, perhaps $10 each plus postage - and the postage on some of those currently is high, need to review that.

Should I set up a Section? Change my Welcome Message? how do i promote it?

Also, what price? What would you pay? and should I put it as one price including postage?

any ideas gratefully received.

Why don't you setup a sample sale section and place all the items there?

I honestly can't tell you what to sell them for. In my opinion they are worth so much. $10 plus postage is like a black friday wait in line punch a guy steal.

HAHAHA, that's wonderful Brittany! As a potter once you move on you hate looking back at your old stuff - just want to give it away - had some young visitors yesterday and gave them about 20 of my not-good-enoughs (can't throw away as they have faces!) - Mom told me they played with them all afternoon, made my day. I can't quite give these away, but close to it.

If you want to set up a 'clearance' section you can use the EtsyOnSale.com tool to mark down your prices. You can use the referral code at

I like the white ones. No clue on the pricing, $10 sounds like a great deal. When I want to get rid of stuff I'm tired of looking at or don't make anymore I just make a clearance section.

Have setup the Sale section moved them all in and changed the prices - THEN i looked at Etsy on Sale - dummy - now I'm going to put all the prices back and use Etsy on sale - haha
