What does that mean?

That number is the IP address for the person who viewed your item. It stands for Internet Protocol.

"Every machine on a network has a unique identifier. Just as you would address a letter to send in the mail, computers use the unique identifier to send data to specific computers on a network. Most networks today, including all computers on the Internet, use the TCP/IP protocol as the standard for how to communicate on the network. In the TCP/IP protocol, the unique identifier for a computer is called its IP address."

It's just the address of the computer used by the person who viewed your item. I hope this helps.

That isn't 100% true. Etsy doesn't record information like this about individual visits, and it actually means that a visit to your shop originated VIA that IP address, which is a little funky since that IP is a corporate address designated for Akamai. I doubt they are actually directly linking to your page.

My guess is someone is using an Akamai web solution that resides at that IP address somehow ended up getting a link to your page. Nothing to be worried about...but also probably nothing to be excited about.

It actually looks like Etsy is using Akamai services, so that may explain where the hit came from, in which case it is actually most likely traffic from within Etsy.
