I need your suggestions and feedbacks, please help me!

Hi there. I opened my mockup shop three months ago. And I can't improve my impressions on Etsy. Day by day my shop getting worse. Maybe, I haven't good enough English skills. Please tell me what's my errors, what can I do for my clients and my little shop? I would love to hear your feedbacks. Thank you so much for your valuable thoughts and your time!

Your items say payments are by "shopier" not paypal or Etsy direct checkout. I just did a search to try and find out what shopier is and could not find good reliable information. Shopiers's facebook page has not been updated since last year and is not in English. Shopier's home page comes up as "untested" under Norton Internet Security. Not the two things a customer wants to see in a payment option. This would stop me from buying from you

Thank you for your thoughts. Let me explain. Because of the issue between my government and PayPal, PayPal doesn't work in my country anymore. So, most of the Turkish sellers use other payment option. Actually nearly all of us use Shopier that is the best option for us and for Etsy buyers. Because its global system provides a simple, fast and secure payment service. Transactions are signed and encrypted via a secure infrastructure and card data is not stored.
Plus, we did all our sales except 2 (because we used to PayPal our first month). And we have never met a problem. My clients are happy, because they leave lots of review about their happiness and the smooth transaction.

I didn't ask you to explain; I was telling you why I wouldn't buy and I can assure you I am not alone. I don't think a US buyer would choose your services over someone state-side.

Yeah, I'm sorry Faith, but I agree with Richard. Under your payment section you have this: "Etsy can't guarantee the security of these options. For details on how to pay with these methods, contact me.

What does this mean? I didn't see any mention of paypal, direct checkout, personal check, money order, or shopier.

As a buyer I simply wouldn't feel secure using a shop that doesn't have its accepted payments clearly spelled out. Your existing customers and customers in Turkey might, but if you want to expand your global market to new customers you have to think about how other shoppers might view your shop.

Also, you've had 117 sales already? That's really quite good for only 3 months. Best of luck.

I agree with Richard about the payments but not with the rudeness.

However, I have been looking for a bedroom mockup and yours is BEAUTIFUL! So while I typically like to buy with paypal or in the US.... you are offering EXACTLY what I was looking for and that is all that matters in the end. I made a purchase.

When I purchased it showed my order went through and then I received an email asking me to pay. That is kind of annoying as a shopper because I don't want to pull my card out and type it in.... but that's life! I would mention that in your policies or somewhere because I didn't see it.

Here are some things to consider.... when I put your mockup in my cart it showed "other" mockups I might like and they were all priced lower than yours... 5.00 and 3.66. Not that you should lower your price but it is food for thought.

You should also consider doing bundles!

Did you have any problem with your order and process of payment? Because I have to use only other method. Etsy haven't opened direct checkout for my country yet. I love your shop. Great design and lovely photos. Below are my suggestions for your Shop Announcement. I wouldn't mention PayPal. I wouldn't bring the focus to anything that you are not offering. I think that just spelling out the checkout steps in your announcement is fine. It may be different, but Etsy is huge and trustworthy to most. I would remove this from your Policies, "Etsy can't guarantee the security of these options. For details on how to pay with these methods, contact me." I don't have a clue what you're taking about there because I cannot see anything other than that statement. So if something is missing, I don't know it until I read your comment. I might say, "Payment instructions for International orders with the 'Other Method' are stated in each listing, and in my shop announcement.


And this is what I would write for your Shop Announcement:
Welcome to AFTdesignShop.
Instructions for purchases with AFTdesignShop:
*Add items to cart -> Proceed to checkout -> Submit Order
*You will receive an e-mail with a link to complete your payment.
*Follow the link -> Enter Credit Card Information -> select "Pay Now".
*You will be automatically redirected to the "download page".
*Etsy will also e-mail you the link to download and save your order.

Hi Faith, I agree with Keri's suggestion :) Definitely just write out the checkout instructions in your shop announcement. It wasn't that long ago that I remember having to write up Paypal checkout instructions in my shop announcement myself when it wasn't that well known ^_^'

I'm not sure if the "Etsy can't guarantee the security of these options. For details on how to pay with these methods, contact me." is boilerplate text from Etsy itself (seems like it) but seeing that and minimal other policies and no pictures in the About section doesn't inspire the greatest confidence for me, from a buying perspective. If there's any way you can get rid of that sentence, and maybe add more information about yourself, that would go a long way! Oh and marketing off Etsy of course ;)
