I need a way to get more exposure...

Hey everyone!

As I posted last week, I had my first two sales! But sadly, that has been it.
I'm looking for a way to get more exposure, without having to spend (as I don't have anything to spend, haha).

Anyone have any ideas? Or is there a certain graphic/blog design/etsy banner design you would recommend I include in my shop?

How about web ads, Facebook landing pages, or labels/stickers? also do you design logos?

You just started your shop. It is not even a month old.
To have sold two items already is great! Congrats!

It takes time and dedication to build up a successful shop (think years, not weeks).
I recommend that you go on with what you are doing now, and see what the results are, before you start changing things.
(By the way: changing your banner will not get you more exposure...)

I have never designed a logo, but I'm pretty sure I can. Facebook landing pages! I forgot about that one. And Web Ads, yeah, I'll have to add those too.

Thanks BeaG! I wasn't asking to change my banner, I was wondering if there's a certain banner design you would recommend me to *add* to my shop (I sell premade Etsy banners). But thanks, I guess I'll have to just stick at it!

For a suggestion I think it would be nice to show some examples. When I looked at a business card listing and a custom banner listing I don't see any examples of your work. Use the rest of your image space to show some other custom items you've made that relate to that listing.

I've only made one custom banner (other than mine) and I'm afraid that isn't enough. Do you think I should still add it there? As for the business cards, I should add some - I completely forgot about that!

You could just make a few banner examples and business cards up with pretend shops if you needed to.

I think I would use the examples as the rest of the images, leaving the first one as your 'custom' image.

Be patient! I've made about 1 sale per month since I've been open, 2 if I'm lucky.

And I've been using Etsy showcases, Search Ads (paid) as well as FB, Twitter and Pinterest (free)

I think the basic players here are FB, Twitter and Pinterest - all it takes is time to promote yourself there. The days I've had the most views to my shop are the days I've done a lot with my FB fan page and tweeting.

The showcases are fairly cheap ($7/per) so you should try one and see if it works for you.
