I hit 400 Sales today!

Not only am I sending art to China for the first time, which in itself is very exciting, but I hit the 400 sales mark too! Here since 2010, 100 sales a year may seem pitiful to some, but I'm over the moon! I remember starting out, and finding these amazing artists here that had 250+ sales and not being able to imagine ever getting that far. I put my heart in my art, so this is really special to me.

My apologies to those of you who loath milestone threads.

Sarah- I don't see anything in the rules about not posting milestone threads and I see them all the time. I do see it encouraged that milestones get shared on this thread (https://www.etsy.com/teams/5002/etsy-success/discuss/8879107/) but nothing says you can't make your own. :)

Thanks you guys! Last year was really slow, I wasn't going to close my shop but I was pretty disappointed and convinced it wouldn't pick back up. But it did... for a while, then not, then it did again, it's such a roller coaster. So if you're reading this and feeling bummed, or just starting out and haven't had a sale yet, don't lose hope. I did introduce a new line of product and I think that has helped, but I still have really slow patches. Today was my first sale in weeks, so hang in there.

Congrats! That is amazing. I try not to compare my shop to others but it keeps me motivated to keep producing. I am getting close to 100 sales, very excited. I love hearing success stories, and those who never give up when we are in a low sale point. I wish you much success.

Sarah, the leaders of this team want us to use their Official Success Celebration Thread.
They keep closing these kind of milestone threads, but you are right, they forgot to mention it in their team rules. So I guess there is no rule against it.

BeaG, I am aware of the success thread, and have posted milestones in it before, but nobody replies, or seems to notice in that thread. It's all people adding their success or milestones, which is great. But I wanted to make an individual post because I wanted some interaction with people who get how exiting milestones, or even just a single sale can be. I haven't noticed milestone threads being shut down, but I will take note if or when I see that happen.
