How to turn FaceBook "Likes" into sales on Etsy

I have been trying very hard to get the word out about my site. I have happily garnered over 100 "Likes" on Face Book and have links to my Etsy store. I even offer a coupon for FB users. However, I find not a lot of success in turning those "Likes" into sales. Any suggestions?

For a start: just like with views on Etsy, it isn't about getting as many likes as possible, but about getting the right likes.
You want to find your target market and promote to them.
There is nothing wrong with just spreading the word about your shop in general (friends, family, friends of friends), but it won't bring you many sales if they are not your target market.

Are the people who are 'liking' you your target customer? Or are they just there because they like you?

I see so many people saying 'like us on Facebook' as if it actually means something ...

I post all my new paintings on fb. If someone "likes" it, all their fb friends see it, some "like" it too, and so on. The item usually gets a lot of views from that, and a few have translated into sales for me. Try posting pictures of your new items with links to Etsy (not all at once though, because that can be annoying for your followers).
