How to respond to a review?

Hi,

Anyone would share how to respond to a review? I sold a set of popular onesie cutouts to a client who left a 4-star review (my first 4-star) saying the sizes were not as big as she would like. The sizes were clearly stated in my listing and she could ask for custom order if she needed larger sizes so I thought that was not fair to me. I wrote her about it and she didn't like my wording... I plan to respond to here review but couldn't find how to do it.

I thought you can only respond to 3 stars and under. I could be wrong, but I thought I heard that somewhere.

I personally don't respond. Sometimes out of anger we write something that comes off rude to clients without meaning too. I just try to look at it as constructive criticism and brainstorm ways I can limit that issue happening again.

Personally, I feel a little suspicious if I just see five star rewiews in a shop, getting a four star rewiew just shows that we are humans dealing with humans and a four star rewiew is still a good one isn't it?
I wouldn't worry about it.
especially as I haven't got ANY rewiews yet :o)

^^^ Agree, I don't think you can respond to a 4 star (only 3 and under). But, if I am unfortunate to receive a 3 or less, I ALWAYS respond (professionally). I don't like seeing others that have 1-3 star reviews and don't respond. Makes me wonder what their customer service it like. JMO

Thanks, all! I'd definitely reply if I could. I just wanted to say my side of story or admit if it was my mistake.

Of course, I finally ended up offering more options on sizes, which I think is "constructive" part of this review. :)
