I would agree with all of that, especially the signatures on emails and commenting on other blogs.
I did a giveaway on my blog when I first opened my shop, linking it to my twitter and facebook, too. I got a lot of traffic to my shop AND my blog that way. You could also just send an email to friends asking for their help. They can re-tweet your blog posts for you, because they know people that you don't know.
