Your prices are great, the pictures are all very creative! Do you cross promote by Blog or Facebook? I've recently done this as well as joining teams that relate to this, and My sales just this week have gone way up! :-) Good luck, great store!

Re: How to measure success? Critique Please

I have just started blogging and to be quiet honest, Im not really sure what to blog about. I dont just want to put "hey look what I just listed" which is what I do on Twitter.

I do FB but so far I only have 73 followers, most of which are family and friends.

I guess I just worry that my shop is not appealing.

When I am at the farmers markets, and at craft faires I usually sell completely out!!! Business on Etsy has been good. I just want it to be better :) Which I am sure is what everyone wants:)

Facebook seems to bring in a little traffic to my shop, but Etsy search seems to bring the most. I do make a ton of time to work on titles and tags, and try not to use the same ones in every listing. . . .I guess I just need to figure out how to get my shop noticed more!

Re: How to measure success? Critique Please

I agree that your prices, photos and titles are great! You just need to get some traffic outside of Etsy into your shop. Do you hand out business cards at the farmers markets and craft fairs? Also, do you have labels on your items that have your shop name and your shop url on it so all of your products have your information on them making it easier for people to become repeat customers and if they are giving it as a gift, that person can easily order from you? Also, your photos are really good, so you may want to submit some of your items to EtsyLush, which might help drive some traffic to your shop. http://etsylush.com/

I hope that helps a little.

Re: How to measure success? Critique Please

RoyalRegards I do not have my items labeled . . .not yet. I am working with a fellow etsian to make labels both for my product and for shipping. And no I usually just leave b.cards on the table for them to pick up if they want.

I have never heard of etsylush before? I am off to check that out!!! Thank you for the great tip:)
