How to list one item in several shop sections?

One of the suggestions I received in my critique was:

Sections - use all ten, each one is a new url, a new page on Etsy and a new potential landing platform into your shop.

Clearly there is a way to do this...but I cannot figure it out. I would love to have earrings that are made with pearls and silver show up in a section that says "silver earrings" and "pearl earrings" AND " earrings"--but as best I can tell, I can only have them in one shop section at a time? Perhaps I need to make three pair of each earring?

You are correct, they will only show up in one section. Use those different descriptions as tags.

I wouldn't make three of them, you are only duplicating the listing and paying for each one. Just make sure your title, description and tags are descriptive and put them in the most relevant shop section.

Since back-links are really helpful to your customers and your views why not put links from one set of earrings in one of your shop sections to another in another shop section and say something like " If you really enjoyed these earrings you might also enjoy these other earrings (URL) in section 'URL'" or "If you were looking for pearl earrings these earrings (URL) in section (URL) also were made with pearls."
