How to leave feedback for these items?

Often, buyer's don't confirm if they have received the item and they don't respond to messages. Its been around two months and I have not heard from them. So how do I leave feedback as a seller for these items?

Some parcels are shipped with tracking so I can confirm that they have reached and I leave a + feedback for them with something like "smooth transaction but awaiting confirmation from buyer" etc.

Some parcels are not tracked, so I have no way of knowing that they have arrived safely.

But, In both cases, I'm afraid the moment I leave a + feedback, they will contact me saying its broken or did not arrive or create problems and I will not be able to change the feedback I left for them while they might give me a negative feedback.

Should I just not leave feedback for buyers who don't confirm? Its quite irritating to see "20 (and counting) items awaiting feedback" every time I log in! :/

How do you leave feedback for these buyer?

I dont - I leave feedback AFTER they have so if they dont I dont.

This is because I dont see the transaction as completed till they have contacted me or left feedback to let me know all is OK & I am not going to leave feedback till transaction is completed.

It wont stop you being irritated by the numbers of feedback you still have to leave but they dont bother me so cant really comment :)

The buyer feedback is not shown anyway so you dont affect your buyers' rating when you leave them neative feedback. I as a seller always leave positive feedback once payment is received because this means the buyer has completed their part of the deal. One shouldn't use feedback as a secret last chance to not get negative points. And if an item is broken or not received I think it is the seller or the post office's responsibility and not the buyer who already paid. In order to avoid negative feedback I would just refund or replace.

Same here, I leave feedback only when my customers have left me some or when I have received a confirmation that the package arrived and that they liked their order.

I feel that many buyers don't even know about the feedback, and there's no point in pressuring them or keeping their feedback as "hostage." I personally give positive feedback as soon as they've made payment and I've shipped the item, as far as I'm concerned that makes them a good customer - which entitles them to positive feedback.
