How to know when you get on Front Page ?

My banners where featured on Etsy's front page on saturday night, of course I had no idea. One of my Etsy friends told me about it on Sunday ( yes, it is great to have Etsy friends watching your back ). I just wonder is there some sort of warning e-mail about being featured on Front PAge, that way the seller can be ready to promote, and just simply know that there will be increase in traffic, possible sales and covos ? I was super excite to see that :), yey, huge traffic to my site, I did put my super excitng news on FB page and tumblr ,but I just wish I knew it at least 24 hours before hand ( especially this last weekend was crazy busy with celebrating Father's Day ).
And one more question, is there something special that you do when you get on FP?

I think the only way to know is to check craftomatic
and also the jump in views is the obvious giveaway,
but I agree with you, there should be something extra special to let us know.
Also, Put a Front page button next to your FP item and congratulations !

Congratulations on your FP :) You can register your shop name on Statsy and then go to the Featurator tab. Hope this helps :) It must be a great feeling being on the front page :)

Statsy will send you an email that you have been on the FP when you sign up there. It may appear at the end of the 30 min that you are featured, or later/earlier, but the email will be sent!

Yes, FP exposure really rocks, it's nice to ride the wave of so many visitors :), although it shrinking with every hour, it's great to see this spike on the google analytics :)

This is great information... Could someone give me the direct url for statsy. I don't think I'm getting to the right place, just seems to be information about sports ;)

http://craftomatic.com is the other site that's mentioned. It's a little confusing, so much info on the front page, but I think I fund the information to sign up. Is the basic (free) membership enough or do y'all have a different level?

I haven't been on FP (that I know of!) but it would be great to find out. It is too bad we don't get an automatic convo when the FP listing is there; but maybe it's too much time and effort to do that...
