How to get rid of blue tint in photos?

For some reason, the orange of this item really messes with the white balance in photos. I have tried several different settings on my camera, and I can't seem to figure out how to get rid of the blue tint. Any tips for photographing or editing that will get rid of this?

Do you have photo editing software?
I use Photoshop, which is quite expensive, but there are lots of free alternatives, like Gimp.
You can easily desature the blue colour to a neutral grey (or, with some more work, make it white).
It IS a pretty picture though!

I do have photoshop, but don't even begin to know where to start fixing the problem. I use auto levels and curves, and that's the most I know to do. Hah

I use the "color temperature" in my photo editing software to "warm up" photos and it takes the blue out.

Levels and curves are a great start!
(Don't like autolevels for my pictures though.)

Go to 'image', 'adjustments', 'replace color', then click the blue in the background and pull the 'saturation' handle completely to the left.

try adjusting your white balance if you are shoot in manual mode.

This is how I learned Photoshop too...., one step at a time.
I still only know a small fraction of it, but enough to make my product photo's stand out from the crowd.
