How to complete a trade

Hello,

I am trading some items with another shop; what process needs to be followed to ensure that Etsy receives their fees? How do we go about this?

First, you need to make sure that each shop has a payment option of "Other"

Then you each proceed to check out the item from each other's shop through the checkout system, selecting "other" as your payment method.
