How to circles work?

I hope this isn't a dumb question but I am confused on circles. Who am I supposed to add? Do I add someone I know or people who I find interesting? How do you use circles?

You can add whoever you want. Some people add buyers who like their shop, some add sellers whose shops they like, others just add anyone. I tend to add people who favorite interesting things; they show up on my activity feed and I find items to favorite that I probably wouldn't have otherwise.

It's important to remember that just because you add someone doesn't mean they'll add you back and end up seeing your activity. Circles aren't intended to be used for promotion.

Daphne, I just started using circles recently too. I usually add people who favorite items I like. That way whenever they favorite an item it shows up in my new feed, and I can find out about cool new shops and products.
