How to bounce back from an extended leave of absence

I am returning to my shop after have to take several months off for health reasons. I have found that, although I am working harder than ever to post new items and provide a wider variety of offerings, I am hardly getting any shop views, most of the time.

Has anyone else been through this? How did you bounce back? Any suggestions and/or success stories would be greatly appreciated!

Keep doing what you're doing. You're basically starting from scratch again. Post items, promote off-site, pretend you're once again, a new shop.

There's no guide other than to keep working on your shop.

I noticed on a couple listings your tags were single words - make sure your optimized for search by using phrases that your target market are searching for! Join an SEO team to brush up on Etsy and google SEO - that will boost your views!

I'm in the same boat as you. I took time off because of my work schedule and now I feel I'm starting over. The plus for me is I improved my products construction. Now its just creating stock for my shop and promote, promote and more promoting.

Keep working at it.

Thanks for the encouragement, everyone! Starting from scratch is so frustrating...

I especially found the tip about product tags to be very helpful. I never thought of phrases, only of descriptive words. I'll try it on my new products and see what happens! It'll be a nice experiment for me.
