24 sales this month so far consiting of 34 items so its been a very good month already. I celebrate my first year of selling on Etsy in July so i can't compare to last year but so far so good :)
My shop was closed for vacation for three weeks in April and I was worried that it would take a while to get back up to speed when I re-opened. I am happy to report that my sales are pretty much back to normal. I average about a sale a day most of the time.
I only have one sale so far. Than again, I've been telling myself I was going to focus more on my marketing/SEO skills this month, which I haven't had a chance to do. This will be the week! So I'm not entirely bummed out. . .
I hate to be negative but so far no sales this month. It has been so slow. ANy help or ideas out there--I am listening. Congrats to you all with tons of sales...and many more.
No sales yet online, but I just listed several brand new items that I'm very excited about!! I also participated in a craft fair the beginning of this month, and made quite a few sales there, so all in all, I'm looking forward to finishing out this month on a good note..!
None for May but 3 since I opened in February. Hoping for things to pick up. I am beginning to see more direct hits everyday so I think that is a good sign! Also seeing items being favorited by individuals who are not Etsy shops so I am anticipating future sales:)
25 so far - much better than last year - but my stuff really caters to the graduation-crowd so I imagine it'll slow down over the summer at least a little bit.
I made a sale today, that being said, it doesn't put me in the situation I'd like to be in though. I'd still like to keep the sales coming like they did last month
I think etsy changed something which is not nice at all. I used to get around 150 views a day and since last week it went down to around 40 a day. I am sorry but this is not normal at all and I'm very furious. No sales for ages..
Yep...totally agree @Giftsandbobs. It seems like something changed on Etsy. Normally I have an average of 200-400 views a day, but since April it lowered to 80-150 views a day. And NO sales since the beginning of April (4 in total the whole month, none in May). The weird thing is that I actually improved my shop during this time. I'm renewing all my images (working very hard together with a model to renew all my listings) and improving my descriptions and keywords.... very strange... I just don't get it. Luckily I have a store front in a concept store... else this would be a disaster. Staying positive though :)!!!
I think it was this time last year or the year before when they changed something about the etsy search engine and how your item is found and I only learned about it through this forum. Maybe they did something again but not telling us. :S
