My best month so far, but that is probably because I've put a ton of efforts in my shop! Good luck to everyone though, it is a crowded market place and it is difficult to be found. But not impossible. I realised it takes time to get yourself known. The secret is perseverance and originality. If you make something that has your own personal and unique trademark and take good pictures of it, it will gives you the confidence to market it better. I'm not quite there yet though!
views are down from last month, despite lots of new listings. No sales this month... in my art shop, views are down a little from last month also but a few sales there :)
February was good for the first half and then very slow but so far March has been quite good for me. I'm starting to get some referral traffic too which is great. But I could say that and things die and I'll be moping around wondering if I'll ever make another sale. And so it goes......up this week, down the next.....then up again.....
After nearly two years, things seem to be looking up: this month, including a Spring Sales Day (craft fair to most of you folks, I'd imagine), where I sold 4 toys and covered my costs with a little profit, have also made/sold a Beaver plush toy, have two foxes due to go to Monroe, NJ later this week, and sold two Hedgehogs, which I only listed yesterday. Wonder how long this run will last? Here's a pic of one of the Hedgehogs - http://www.etsy.com/listing/95653745/hal-the-plush-baby-hedgehog
This Copious...I only got as far as the log in/create an account page. Do you have to have facebook or twitter to participate? I have neither (I know...gasp!)
I haven't had a sale - but then I haven't been very active on Etsy for a long while. Hope to get a sale or two soon. I hate to think that all this work has been for nothing.
It's been slow, I have only had 1 sale this month so far. I think part of it for me is I don't have as much time to be on Etsy as I would like. Then I could do more. I have so many things going on. Hopefully it will pick up. :)
Where I live, a week in March is spring break time from school, so families are planning and going on vacations and spending money on doing that. So therefore doing less "extra" shopping. My sales were higher in Feb. maybe because I ran an ad on Facebook for 2 weeks. 10 sales this month so far. 15 in Feb.
I opened late November and thought I was doing pretty good. Now I haven't had a sale in 6 weeks! Beginners luck? , Views are up lots of favs. Good to hear I'm not the only one, but I see other shops selling like crazy!
We've started having more sales this month but probably just because we were rock bottom before.
We just started our biggest sale ever two days ago though, thinking we'd clean the shop out. Only one sell in over two days. Don't get me wrong... we don't usually have sells more often than that but I don't feel like our big SALE has sped things up.
