How often do you relist?

I'm curious how often do you relist your items? One a day, several spread out, at a particular time,...?

Well, I'm kinda not in charge of that anymore. Because of the new listing quantity thing it relists when an item sells all by it's self. I like it and it seems to work great.

I re-list sporadically. Just a few times a week. I look on the etsy newsletter to see what items I can re-tag an item and then I re-list it. I'm still trying to see what works best. It seems that in my time zone any time works, but I like re-listing in the afternoon.

I try to list new items in the morning, relisting in the evening when I have more time.

i used to relist if an item sold and i had more, or if it was expired and i wanted to keep it active.

now, i use the new feature that relists for you without charging up front.

i only relist if an item is about to expire and i want to keep it active.

I have never re listed just to re list before. Especially now that search is done more on relevancy instead of newest I'm not sure how helpful it would actually be?

I only relist, if something is about to expire.
Sometimes, because my things take quite long to make, I will relist in between new stuff as well. Rarely though :)

I just had my first listings come due to expire from when I opened in January, so I re-listed them a couple each night.

Usually when I make a handful of new items I will list them together in one sitting on weekends, since my weekday time on Etsy is pretty limited!

I have a thing that relists the oldest item every 2 days which is great for drawing some traffic in for items that don't sell often and to not have to worry about expired listings.

I don't sell enough that nothing gets close to being expired. :(

I renew an item or list a new item every day. I just go to the oldest of my listings and renew what ever is last on the list. It usually happens in the afternoon sometime.

Renewing listings plays a small part in Relevancy searches, especially in very saturated categories such as Jewelry. Renewing several items throughout the day seems like too much in these days of Relevancy search.

My category is very small and I renew on item at least once every few days.

Kouture - What do you use to relist items? That sounds like a useful app.

If I haven't sold anything for a few days and my views are down, I'll renew one of my older listings to try to bring in traffic. I usually do get more hits after renewing.

I don't usually relist, I just add new items. The only exception is if I think that I can sell something really well at that particular time (for instance I relisted my fourth of july eye shadow duo a couple days ago so that it would be seen).

I use the auto renew feature, but I also renew when things are due to expire, so between the two, there is something being relisted several times a day usually.

I try to renew three items once a day on the weekdays...around 7:00 EST. I know it's not supposed to be as helpful as it was before relevancy, but I definitely notice fewer views/favorites/convos and possibly sales during times that I don't renew as opposed to times in which I renew on a regular basis. So I just go on what works for me.

Ariella. I use etsy on sale. But it sucks that etsy on sale is not free. Still it worth it for me just for that.

I was told to relist items during your peak sales and or views. And definitely not all at one time. As mentioned it's by relevancy now and not new. It's difficult to do this because when you have the time you do it, right? I also use this time to re-do the relistings as well. Keeps it new and doing a refresh on the shop as well.

Before Etsy revamped the Wedding section (sniff, sniff) I use to list or renew at least once a day.
If I have an item that is in a different category I'll renew once a day or so. If my item is in the Wedding category, I'll renew once in awhile.
I got this from an Admin. post
"...For example, renewing your items won’t have the same effect with relevancy as it did with recency. While recency is still a factor in relevancy, it's not the only one."
So as long as it's "still a factor.." I'll continue to do it.

2 every 3 days at the moment, but that's only because of the amount of items in my shop and the fact that I staggered their expiration dates...
