How many views do you average per sale?

As I am just starting out and have yet to have my first sale,
I can't stop watching the dashboard to see how many views
and favourites I have! I plan to add some new items tomorrow,
so hopefully this will give me a little more exposure.

I'm just wondering if anyone has calculated the number of views
they get in relation to sales. I'm sure it is different for everyone
and fluctuates... but I'm still curious!

i heard the ideal is 100 views per sale, i get 1100+ views per sale. which everyone says must mean im doing something wrong.

I don't have an exact number but roughly 250 views to a sale for me.

You asked an interesting question, so I calculated mine... 200 views/sale. I'm not sure whether that is good or bad, so I'll just keep listing!

I just figured it out and I have averaged 126 views per sale. That makes me feel better because I don't have that many sales, but I don't have that many views either. I mean it's not good to not have very many views, but at least I have the hope that my sales will increase if my views increase, which they have been doing.

My gosh! I think I maybe get 1000 views per sale. I keep wondering if I'm maybe doing something wrong. If anyone has time, I would love your thought on what I can do to improve my shop.
I also wonder if maybe the views I'm getting are mostly from sellers rather than buyers. I think my items fit into a very niche market.
What do you think???

As I am inexperienced, I'm not sure, but I could make one suggestion re photography... I originally photographed my cards on a very textured barn board, but then I realized that the background was so detailed, it was detracting from the detail in the cards. Maybe you could try shooting your pieces on a more neutral background to make all the beautiful and colourful details stand out?

In the past year, we average 55 views/1 sale. This month we are averaging 1 sale/42 views. Don't get too worked up about it. Just keep moving in the right direction

85-100 per sale. Im at about 1700 views 20 sales for the month.

All time it is about 762 views per sale but, some people have bought more than one thing.

Personally I don't worry about the actual number of views per sale but rather the number of views from my target customer per sale.

For example, if I'm active on one of the forums outside Etsy in a really controversial topic I could very easily get 100 views on my shop just from having my URL in my signature. But how many of those views will translate to sales? Probably not too many.

So far in the first 8 days of November I'm averaging 45 views per sale. But during the summer months it could easily be 60 - 70 views per sale.

All time, 200 views a sale. Last month: less than 100 views a sale.

However i don't promote much so many of the views do come from search and are much more likely to convert than views from teams and random promotion, in my experience.
I've also sold items that only had 8-20 views on them more than once. As long as it's the right view! :)

I've had 3 orders so far this month but 4 items were sold. I figured my stats based on total views divided by 4 items. It came out to 188 views per sale. If I go by number of orders, it's 250 views per order.

My search views have skyrocketed in the last week. My market is shopping for Christmas right now.

I`m not counting my cthulhu views.. with my famous Cthulu monster it is
about 400 views / 1 sale..

Roughly 98 views pee sale for me right now. On a side note you could raise your prices a good 5 to 6 $ and maybe you'll get more views? Best of luck
