Tia -- I've been killing myself. Made 8 treasuries and promoted them all tons and have been changing tags and descriptions. Just not sure what's good. My views are definitely up.
Different every day -- this week my highest was monday at about 180, my lowest was Saturday at about 40. BTW -- that's before I started changing the titles,etc. I have to go back and look more closely at the history...
I get more visitors from Etsy than google. I have been doing the same thing. Changing titles, SEO, etc. Hoping for a change. If you have noticed that your views are increasing that's good sign. I like shop stats, but I used GA to see what day I'm getting the most visitors. That's a good day to renew or list new items.
You guys are so knowledgeable. Are there any articles/blogs on here about how to use GA? If I start searching, I'll get sidetracked onto something else...I have SO much to learn.
The one day I promoted on Face Book I had 184 views. The next day?...7 Oh well.
I must admit I had given up on Etsy -- no sales. I felt I needed an online presence to legitimize my business on the ground. I have been giving it a "college try" and I do feel that I am effecting a change. I have learned a lot! Anyway, I find the Shop Stats much better than GA, and I find the explanations etc. here on Etsy are much improved since the last time I paid attention.
Craftedlocally -- there are tons. If you use the search box in threads or discussions and search for Google Analytics you will find tons of info. But I feel the Shop Stats feature is better.
Az I think you are doing great! I always notice a jump in views directly from my marketing and renewing activity. Basically, the harder I work, the more traffic is driven to my site. If I don't renew for a while, my views look like a flat line LOL
I cannot lol. I am going to go whole at it next week and try to get some momentum and recognition (and customers, I hope), then I will taper off. I have a lot of shows this fall! I DO want to have a flow of sales from this though...
Great job!!! I am struggling with photos, views, etc. and was wondering about how many per day and week, so thank you! I have a ton more to do, but am getting the hang of this :) Working at it every day does help!
