How many repeat customers do you get?

I get some here and there, and also have some die-hard fans, but just wanted to know what I should be looking for when it comes to repeat buyers.

I get about 50% returning customers, mostly at season changes and back to school uniforms. Several for birthday dresses or christmas dresses every year.

I haven't done the math, so it's a wild guess. I think it's less then 5%. But they keep returning.

I have had 11 sales in the 4 months I have been open. 2 of those have been from repeat customers. But I know them IRL so I don't think that counts. lol :)

I recently did a custom tablet sleeve for one client, and she liked it so much that she requested another item as soon as she received it. I am now working on it. Am really pleased about it, I hope I get more of them :) Feels good to be appreciated :)

Rarely do I have repeat customers.
Vintage shoppers tend to shop around...but those that I have I value and offer a tuck in gift!

I've had 3 repeat customers, out of 22 total sales so about 27% return. Not bad I'd say, considering I joined mid-Jan!

I am glad though that after almost 7 years of selling on Etsy, the majority of my customers are still brand new Etsy members, that somehow found my products online.
And lots of them could potentially turn into return customers.

I also noticed that some of my customers return after 4 or 5 years, because the product they bought held up that long and just shows too much wear, and now they want a new one, in a new colour (combination).
That is promising for the future...
(And no, I am NOT tempted to make products that only last half a year instead, so they return faster, LOL.)

I'd estimate 5-10% of my buyers are repeat customers, but I've only been selling on etsy about a year and half, so maybe that will increase with time. I love how there is a little green star neck to their name when they order to let me know.

I've had 1 from my 27 sales, which I think is phenomenal considering I sell vintage items. Killing them with kindness definitely works for me :)

I have 2 repeat customers. I am very grateful to have them! I don't offer them a discount, but I do sometimes throw in a freebie. I also sent a thank you Christmas card with one order as she bought just before Christmas.
