Just wondered as there are a lot of sellers and I've seen some gorgeous stuff on this site that I want to buy in the very near future... All comments welcome xxx
I buy supplies mostly, never bought anything someone made though :/ mainly because I never feel I can afford it, but now that we've had the Christmas rush, maybe I will treat myself :)
I do. Most of my Christmas shopping took place on here and everything was really nice & loved by the recipients. I post about things I buy on here on my FB page so others check out the shops.
I do. I'm all for developping an alternative economic system based on direct purchase from producer as far as possible. I tend to choose natural materials, recycled and such :)
I love to buy from Etsy buyers, especially when I'm trying to find a unique or personalized gift for someone. I love being able to type in a keyword to fit someone's interests and up comes gift ideas. I bought several Christmas gifts on Etsy and they were big hits!
I have found some of my favorite, most cherished items on Etsy! I found the perfect gift for a relative this past Christmas - one of those tea stands made with upcycled antique English plates. Gorgeous!
I support Etsy sellers. There is a uniqueness in their work that you don't find in big retail stores. I am always trying to find the one-of-a-find items and you can usually find them here.
I purchased all, except 2, of my Christmas gifts from Etsy and the 2 not only because we can't sell Kylie's latest concert DVD - maybe in 20 years time. But Yes I buy A Lot from Etsy, almost as much as I sell if not more sometimes ha ha ha. I actually found Etsy as a buyer looking for a posh teapot, only became a seller much later.
I bouth 2 items already! And I have some clients (may be 4) from the Etsy-sellers! I think that artists best values and understand the quality of my works .
Yes, I buy a lot on Etsy. Clothing, jewelry, vintage stuff, stuff for my house, pets, boyfriend.....I try to always look here first before going to Amazon or some such place :)
I've bought quite some stuff and am always thrilled to receive items I've had my eye on for a while (I rarely buy on an impulse). I think it's part of what makes etsy such a fun place. And I reckon loads of sellers are buyers as well.
It's also a great experience for sellers to know the buyers' side (what you would like best, what sort of communication, etc).
I buy almost all my supplies here. It's the best place, and I've never had bad experiences with the sellers. I found some incredible shops with amazing pieces that I can't find IRL. It's always a pleasure to buy from them.
I buy off of Etsy all the time. Support the cause! I buy a lot of my supplies on Etsy as well. Mostly embellishments for my knitting, they usually offer discounts on top of their regular rates for resale or fellow Etsians.
Most of my gifts come from Etsy too because it's always unique and one of a kind.
