How long does it take from opening your shop to first SALE?

Hello,

It took me 1 month for my first sale. It depends on what your selling, the price and the demand for the item. Give it some time. When its slow I focus on my teams and marketing and getting items for stock. Good Luck!

It took months before I got my first sale. Etsy is all about patience!! I am still not where I want to be, but Like others have said, in the meantime, work on your products and shop. Especially focus on making your photographs the best they can be.

My first sale probably took 2-3 weeks but when you only have a couple items very few people are likely to find you. Start listing more items and change your tags up for all your items so you can see what searches people find you under and what key words work best for your category.

Keep listing and be patient.

Its different for every shop. I'd imagine with higher $ items might take a bit.

Take the time to focus on learning SEO expanding your shop by adding more stuffs.

I got my first sale in about 2 weeks. The first few months you just have to truck along and the buyers will come eventually if you are making items people want and marketing them correctly.
