How is your business in October so far?

I've got 6 sales so far.

13th Oct is the 4th anniversary of my shop with etsy (as full time artist). Lots of love and luck in the past 4 years. In future, I'll still focus on creating unique and classic sterling silver jewellery for everyday wear - Personalized, Wedding band set and Christian Jewellery.

That is great! Congrats! No sales for me yet but I am still learning and working on my shop. I have started to consistently get views from searches so I am happy about that.

No business at all so far but it's the final result that counts. Yet i would not be opposed to having a few sales in the next days.

Sloooooow. I've been getting 20-25 sales per month, but I've only had 3 so far this month. Not good. I've had high hopes for this holiday season, so I sure hope it picks up in November.

Is it slow?
It was slow in September. I didn't sell much Halloween stamps,
but it is very good in October.
I feel my products are not gift really. It is mainly supplies.
Some people is ready for Christmas using my stamps.

So far after a ton of self promoting, my views have gone up significantly. A couple of those views have translated into sales. I even had a friend from college had me make a hat for her (which was a eggplant hat since she works in a horticulture setting, hoping that turns into some interest on my part). And my friend's aunt has been passing my store around since I made a cape for her son. So far my October has been looking good. :)

It's been super slow for me. August was my best month so far on Etsy and then it went downhill fast in September and October :/

I have been steady been getting sales from Etsy and outside of Etsy so its going OK. Glad its not mega busy or else i would not be able to cope as I am pregnant. so this pace is fine.
I have to add that I am getting more sales then i did this time last year.

I'm using this time to catch up on reknitting pieces, deciding on what to leave out and what to add. Overall, it's been my best year yet.

Pretty good month so far considering I'm doing this very part-time right now because of school. I'm happy because I've actually made some decent sales so I can donate a portion to breast cancer research from my October sales, plus my specific breast cancer related items get an added donation.

It's very important to me. This year I've been focusing on helping Cancer charities when I can. Earlier this year I donated over 12 inches of my own hair to Locks of Love. It was really long and I finally chopped it short for the summer. Rather than have it go to waste, I'm happy knowing that my clean hair will be part of a wig for a child who lost their hair from chemo.

I'm the same as Lauren - my best month ever in August, but September was pretty dead. October has been just as slow except for burst in the last few days - I'm hoping that's a sign that things are looking up again??!!

Up and down. After 10 day at the end/beginning of September with no sales I had 9 sales in 2 weeks. I am happy because it's only since April that I am here.
I hope in more sales for the holidays season coming.

October was not so good for me so far. But to be honest - it's my fault. It's almost a year since I opened my etsy shop and I was kinda feeling like I was getting steady sales without much effort.
Oh, I was so wrong.
Etsy changes all the time plus people want new stuff and so on and so on...
To stay at the same place you have to keep running, aren't we?

And my best month so far was (surprise!) July.

Only one sale in October. I started making bags to be used with walkers and wheelchairs hoping to increase views and sales. I think having more variety of styles on my site will help with sales. Glad to hear some sites are having steady sales, I'm still learning how to have that happen.
