First of all I must say HI to you all and how thrilled I am to be on this team!!
My question is : if I'm making beaded hoops, then should I just make beaded hoops?? I find that the shops that do well often sell the same kind of item. Or am I wrong?
Nikki, i think you should feel free to try out as many creative endeavors as you'd like. I have a number of "types" of items in my shop and they all sell equally well most of the time. If there is something you want to try you shouldn't feel weird about putting a listing or two up and seeing how it goes! lots of people sell things that are different but related - and i think that is the kind of cohesion you'd want to maintain. I know that i like to see shops with different offerings. There are a number of other ways to achieve a cohesive shop - so don't feel like thats the only way. hope that helped.
I just looked at you shop and duh - you already are selling more than one type of thing (probably shouldve looked first) like i said, I think selling a variety of things on your shop is great - plus your shops looks very cohesive to me
