How do you organize collections and complementary items?

I just started selling a new range of products that have complementary designs, but that I am selling separately for now. I was wondering how I should link them to each other?

For example, if you sell jewelry and have complementary necklaces, earrings, rings, bracelets, etc, how do you connect them? I can see just putting a link in the description for one or two items, but what if I have 5+ items?

Would love to hear your thoughts.

Maybe in item description you can write "if you like it, there is a complementary design here (and put a link)". I saw descriptions with 5-7 links, I think it is a simple way. Or you can put a specific name to the design, for example "Napoleon" (a sort of fashion line) and tell to the customer in description "if you search "Napoleon" in my shop, you find other items etc."

I would probably do a group shot of all these items (or a good selection of them) and use it as my 3rd or 4th pic :)

Tag the complementary items with a code say T23. Do a shop search for that and copy the result from the address bar. The code can be at the end of any tag with enough spare characters.

EAGER: hm, that sounds interesting - I've never heard of that idea. Does that affect SEO at all, sticking it at the end of a tag?
