How do you get in to a Showcase??

Is it impossible to get a showcase? There is never any listings open. I have waited and stayed up to see if I can get a spot and it didn't work is that what you have to do to get into one?

I wouldn't bother. I've done it a few times and have had zero sales and am out the $. Go to "promote" from your "account" page and plan ahead...way ahead! I never look at showcases now that etsy doesn't promote them like they used to. I think the time is better spent revamping photos and renewing items OFTEN! I want to know how to get an item on the front page!!!

Yeah me too I think the only chance of that is treasuries. I think they should have it so three people are featured on the front page like every two or three hours. Okay well thanks for warning me then. I wasn't sure if renewing did much since I renewed my art and then checked and they weren't at the top of the art page or anything so I wasn't sure if it really did anything but if it does than I'll do it.
