How do you charge tax??

Hi,
Because I could not find anything about tax in the shop set-up, I naively thought that it would be added at the time of purchase for my Canadian purchases. Is there a way to have the tax show up in the purchase or do I have to add that in the shipping costs or something?

I really wish this was easier to find! It's under shop settings/payment (on the left sidebar that's on any of your shop management pages - not sure if there's another way to do it).

I still don't know when you're supposed to charge tax.

Angel, my understanding is you need to charge sales tax to customers in any state where you physically operate (not sure outside the states though).

Ah, ETA -- sorry, you're in Canada... I'll leave this comment though for anyone in the states wondering ;)
