How do I get sales??

I Twitter, have a facebook fan page, run competitions, have free shipping incentives, and I am doctoring photo's and about to buy another camera, do treasury lists and I am part of a team I engage with regularly and I still can't get any sales. Can anyone help???

1) Keep working on your photography. Some of your pictures are quite dark, and some have very busy backgrounds that are distracting to the pieces.

2) Keep working on your inventory. There are 2.2Million pieces of jewelry on etsy. Your 17 pieces don't even make a dent. The shops that do better have at least 100 pieces. The shops that do well for themselves have at least 300 or 400 items in their shop (or more)!

3) Keep working with your teams - those are great for networking.

If you don't increase your inventory it will be very hard to compete. Jewelry is Etsy's busiest category...by far!

That is really helpful advice - thank you. I guess I didn't realize how important it is to have a significant number of items in the shop. The photography tip is good too. I better get a bit busier with the inventory...

I feel a bit despondent about my shop at the moment, but I have taken on board everything you have said.
Could you recommend a good camera to buy? I am about to do a photography course to help me with my photo's - as I am loosing confidence in my ability to post them properly. I find all the info and reading on here really overwhelming, and it's easier for me to learn one on one - I'm a hands on kinda gal.
I have made more pieces, but I will wait to photograph them untill I have the new camera - I just don't feel confident enough yet.
Would you mind telling me which of my pics are too busy so I don't repeat the same backgroud??
