How can you tell who pinned something for you?

I'm hoping someone on this team will know the answer to this ...

Someone pinned one of my Instructables.Com 'how to's". I received over 4000 hits on my Instructable ( www.instructables.com/id/Free-Crochet-Pattern-Not-Your-Grandmas-Cro... ) today.

From Instructables.com they clicked on my ETSY shop link.

Whew!

Now, how can I tell who Pinned it from the start? I'd like to thank them because I did get some orders today from the pin.

PS: I had this same question in another team's discussion group (Pin Me), but nobody knew the answer. FYI ...

I don't know the easiest way. I know you can search Pinterest, but I'm pretty sure it only searches the words in the comments. Have you ever tried Google Image search? You drag the actual photo to the search box and it tries to locate all photos of that specific thing. It might work. You'd have to go through any pins that showed up.
Not sure, it's worth a try.

Id try searching your shop name on pinesters...it has a search function.

Google your shop name and see what pops up! I was shocked to see how many items I've listed show up on Pinterest links through Google - who knew? ;-)

Do as search on Pinterest for your instructables.com user name and your Etsy shop name. If anything pops up it'll tell you who pinned it.
