How can we get more traffic from searches?

Okay, most of our traffic sources come from teams (454 views) and we only have 69 views on searches. I don't think many shoppers are active in teams, which means we're not reaching many potential customers by having so many views on teams and so little views on searches. I know we need more traffic from searches but I'm not sure how I can do that. So that's my question for you guys.....How can we get more traffic from searches?

I think you need to work on your tags. I'm looking at your Boho Headband Retro Style Black and White Headband, and your tags really aren't helping your buyers find it. It's best to use specific 2-3 word phrases rather than single general words. I also don't think people are going to be searching "cute" or "pretty" and still be necessarily looking for headbands. Also when you repeat the title in the description, it's best to use the title in a sentence rather than just repeating it as is.

Good tags will definitely help! One thing you should try--if you haven't already--is to search Etsy using your tags and see what suggested items show up in the drop-down menu. For example, type in "oxford" and you will see suggested searches for "womens oxford," "oxford shoes," etc. Those will help you figure out better tags.

Work on your SEO. Titles, tags, first paragraph of description.

Titles should have what the item is, followed by the most relevant descriptive words. Try out a few different combos and see what works best to get you to show up in the first few pages of searches.

Tags can be multiple words now like "women's headband" "boho headband", etc, so take advantage of that and use tags that would be search terms.

Some ways you can find good tags and title words are to search for items like yours. When you type in the search bar, a drop down menu will appear with commonly searched terms. Also, on the first page of the results down at the bottom there are a bunch of links that are also frequently searched terms similar to what you used. Put any of those that are relevant into your title, tags, and the first part of your description and I bet you'll move up in the search results.
