How can i promote my etsy shop? i only have 1 order in 3 months

Hi guys, i want some tips if you can help me to promote my shop, how can i do it? i am sharing the productos of my shop at pinterest and facebook, but i only have 1 order in 3 months, can you help me with some advice?

Stephanie, Jewelry is a really competitive market on etsy. I would worry more about adding lots and lots more items. The more items you have the easier it is for people to find your shop. I have noticed that most successful jewelry shops on etsy have hundreds of items. Good luck!!

First, I would add more items. This will help a lot, especially if you want to start promoting. You kinda want to be "fully stocked."

Also, for your photos, if your going to have them be modeled on people, have them take off other jewelry. It can be confusing if someone searches for a bracelet and they see a guy wearing that and a watch.

And read up on SEO and join SEO teams. Yours needs work.

But to get to your original question: Promotion. For social media, I personally like Twitter and Instagram. You have to use social media constantly, but about an 80/20 mix of Behind the scenes/Fun stuff than 20% promotions. Than you can also reach out to fashion/jewelry bloggers or podcasts to see about getting featured. Also try selling at craft fairs/farmers markets.

Good advice from the two previous posters. I like the 80/20 Fun and relative to promotional. Social media is the perfect outlet for engaging posts. If you don't have a Facebook Page for your product, I recommend exploring the option. There you can act as your shop and communicate your interests throughout many avenues where more and more people will have the opportunity to notice you. When you comment as your page and when you post interesting content, this will draw in people who may like and share you.

I also feel that it helps to have a "drip" of postings. Instead of just throwing out a gallery and waiting on people to find it, give them a share from your inventory (which can all be posted already) once or twice a day. mixed with an engaging post here and there. anything to not be too much but just enough to keep yourself flowing into the online community.

You have some really beautiful bracelets! But I know that there's a lot of bohemian jewelry shops on Etsy, so you do have a lot of competition. I would just second what everyone else has been saying about adding more items. I think your shop has potential to be very successful :) Also, if you use Instagram, there are studies that show the most active user times on Instagram are 5PM EST and 2AM EST. I would assume that goes for most social media. Just keep pushing forward!
