How can i improve my items tags so i will get more views??

I am constantly tweeking them but unsure if they are having any real effect as never see any major change at all.

Check your shop stats to see what people are searching for. You can also link to Google Analytics, that will give you a better break down of what people are looking for.

Keep up on the trends and the newsletter from the Etsy merchandising desk for upcoming month trends.

Here are a couple of things that I do.

1) I do a search for another seller that sells something similar to me, I check out their tags.
2) I monitor the search phrases that are getting people to my items and update as necessary
3) Make sure my tags are spelled correctly

Take this listing: http://www.etsy.com/listing/105562568/marilyn-monroe-a3-illustration-poster

I would probably use tags like:
- Poster Print
- Marilyn Monroe
- Actress Print
- A3 Poster
- A3 Print
- A3 Marilyn Monroe

I would also try updating some of your titles. For the above listing I would just put "Marilyn Monroe Poster" The first 3 words of the title are the most important.

Try not to use single word tags, as most people search on multiple word phrases. Hope this helps.

Hi Hadas,

I took a peek at one of your items and saw a few things you can work on. Let's take this listing for example:

http://www.etsy.com/listing/105882002/beautiful-bird-of-paradise-a3-poster

I saw some tags that seemed a little irrelevant to the product you're selling, like "love", "pastel", "romantic", and "pastel color". I wouldn't use those terms if I were searching for your print. These are some tags I suggest to use for this picture:

greyscale print, black and white, modern, simple, bird, bird art, tropical, paradise, island theme

Or something along those lines. But that's just my suggestion...hopefully someone else will come along with more! :]
ALSO: may I suggest changing up your title a little? The first three words are very important, and you have "Beautiful bird of". You should start it off with something like "Tropical Bird Print", "Modern Bird Print", "Greyscale Bird Print", "Paradise Bird Print", etc.

Check on Google Ad Words for popular tags that relate to the items that you are selling. Start typing in key words in the search field on Etsy and you can see what most people are searching for.

If you scroll down below the shipping information of your item listing's page, and down below your payment methods, you will see a link titled "Show item details". Click that to view tags. :]

Ask Google for new tags.

Input a tag you already use and Google will suggest new, popular keywords you can use as tags.
