How big is Etsy???

This is just out of curiosity......how many members are there in etsy? Are we as big as Ebay? How well known is etsy? Those are the questions I ask myself from time to time......

I have clenched my fists in anguish many times because of how badly I want to be able to monitor how much traffic is on Etsy as a whole, day to day. We should be able to see so we know how large our market is!!

I think there are alot of inactive shops. It's so hard to get those first few sales, I think alot of people just give up.
