Thanks so much everyone! Before posting this, I had spent some time reading about the different cameras people were using and became self-conscious of the fact that I was using my iPhone camera. My process is not sophisticated and I do not know much about product photography. Just from what I have observed here on Etsy. I take about 10-15 photos of each product on a sunny day in the early morning (7-8am) on the east side of our apartment. The radiator covers in our home are painted white wood (and right by the windows) so I take my initial product photo on one of those to get the coveted "white background" look. The other photos are taken on an old dining room table leaf. From there, I pick the 5 winners and use photoshop to adjust the light further using Levels and Curves. It is a process so I'm glad to hear it is working!
Oh, one more thing! For taking iPhones pics, you can adjust the focus by tapping on the screen right before you take the photo and you can take the photo using the volume buttons for a more stable hand. Have a great day everyone!
